Bloom ABA LLC is a woman-owned practice who's mission is to bring ABA services to an underserved area and help children bloom into themselves.
Sketches
Initially the client mentioned she wanted something clean, simple, and straight-forward. The Crocus flower was an important symbol to include because it was the idea of one of her clients. The sketches focus on incorporating the crocus flower creating simple, organic designs as opposed to abstract symbols. The client chose 10.2 as her personal favorite, and 9, 11 as runner ups.
Color Options
In our conversation, the rainbow and autism logo colors were mentioned. Every designer knows gradients are not recommended for printing purposes; I included it as a digital-only option.
Typeface Options
The client prefers clean, simple, sans serif font choices. The client chose Ofelia.
Logo Options
I played with 3 different types of flowers chosen from the sketches, first in B&W.
Then I picked one B&W option and played with each color palette.
Lastly, I chose one color option and vectorized 3 sketches the client liked.
Final Logo
The client chose the first logo without any edits. UM WHAT?
Business Card Options
The client liked the second layout but couldn’t decide between the first and last designs for the back of the business card. Moo.com offers to print multiple designs on the back which made the client excited she didn’t have to decide on just one.
Social Media
The client wanted templates created with her tagline for Instagram, Facebook, and Canva
Final Thoughts
Does the perfect client exist? Yes! I loved this client and her cause. I have never experienced no edits or for the client to be on the exact same page throughout the whole process. Overall, this project is one of my favorites.
