Color Options
The client wanted a color that projected elegance and confidence, he gravitated towards the color blue although he also wanted to see what a Mayan palette would look like to represent his family.
Typeface Options
The client did not have a preference on which font to use as long as it was easy to read. A previous designer helping the client used Sans Serif fonts to which I added more options.
Logo Options
1st logo represents his family. 2nd logo represents displays. 3rd option is a custom font.
Back to the Drawing Board
It happens! The client did not like the options.
For the second round, I gave the client call… we met up, had pizza and margaritas, and finished the project. His wife showed a few abstract references which were more of what he gravitated towards. Some people see a sailboat, but in the end, he is happy with the abstract A.

Overall, this project was challenging but I learned a lot. I realized that I did not ask important questions early, which has set me up for success in newer logo projects.
